BADAM KA HALWA
A great sweet option to serve at any festivals to your loved ones. the festivities call for some almondy goodness, enjoy this lovely Badam Ka Halwa with your loved one’s this Diwali. this Halwa is super sweet, delicious and packed with the goodness of almonds! Almonds are very nutritious and as we all know they are good for the brain and your soul. Treat yourself with some amazing Badam Ka Halwa.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup almonds
1 tbsp ghee
6 tbsp sugar
½ tsp cardamom powder
1 cup full fat milk
1 tbsp wheat flour [atta]
For garnish
2 tbsp finely chopped cashew nuts (fried or roasted)
1 tbsp rasins
METHOD
For the almonds
Soak 1 cup almonds in water for 8 hours.
Deskin and grind in a mixture [do not overgrind].
Heat the ghee in a non-stick frying pan.
Add the almond mixture and cook for 3 to 4 minutes stirring continuously.
Add the sugar, milk and elaichi, wheat flour and cover with a lid and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Remove the lid, stir continuously and cook till the liquid evaporates.
You can deep freeze the halwa and use at your convenience
To serve
Serve hot garnished with cashew nuts and rasins
