BAKED BEANS & SPINACH PIZZA
This amazing recipe is so very healthy and extremely delicious. the baked beans and spinach goes together so well and turning it into a pizza, makes it all the more yummy! Baked beans on toast is classic snack but making it this way tastes so much better. this is a lovely take on the ordinary pizza. The cheese and spinach makes it so much more creamy. this is a must try recipe as it will wow your kids and elders too. Perfect way to hide the nutrition into a pizza for your kids! 1 Pizza
INGREDIENTS
1 Whole wheat Pizza Bases
For the baked beans filling
½ tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp chopped onions
1 cup of baked beans
½ tbsp tomato ketchup
A pinch of salt
½ tsp chilli powder
For the spinach filling
1 Cups boiled spinach
A pinch of salt and pepper
¾ Cup Grated Cheese
METHOD
For the bean filling
In a non-stick vessel heat the olive oil, add the onions and saute for ½ minute.
Add the baked beans, tomato ketchup, salt and chilli powder to taste.
Cook for one minute.
For the spinach
Add salt and pepper to the spinach.
How to proceed
Add a portion of the baked bean filling in the middle.
Add a portion of the spinach filling and the grated cheese.
Bake it for 7-8 minutes at 180C.
Cut into 4 -6 pieces and serve hot.
