BOURBON BISCUIT CAKE Recipe|Renu dalal

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups Crushed bourbon biscuit
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¾ cup milk
  • Few drops of Vanilla essence

Other ingredients

  • ¾ Cup Chocolate Ganache
  • Crushed biscuits

METHOD

For the batter

  1. Mix all the ingredients together.
  2. Transfer this batter to a greased 6 inch tin.
  3. Bake this at 180C for 15 minutes or until cooked throughout.
  4. Once baked let it cool down for 5-10 minutes and demold it.
  5. Cut the cake into 2 and apply sugar syrup on both halves.

To serve

  1. Spread some chocolate ganache on one part of the cake
  2. Cover with the other half.
  3. Decorate with crushed biscuits and chocolate ganache.
