Crispy Corn Recipe|Renu dalal

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Cup Boiled sweet corn
  • 2 tbsp maida
  • 3 tbsp corn flour
  • ½ tbsp water
  • Salt pepper to taste
  • ¼ tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  • Pinch of turmeric powder

Spices-

  • ½ tsp Black Salt
  • ½ tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • ¼ tsp chaat masala
  • ¼ tsp aamchur

Oil for frying

METHOD

For the spice mix

  1. In a bowl add in all the ingredients and mix well.

For the corn

  1. In a bowl mix together maida, corn flour, salt, pepper, Kashmiri red chilli powder, turmeric powder.
  2. Toss in boiled sweet corn and water.
  3. Coat the sweet corn properly with the flour mix evenly.
  4. Heat oil for frying and fry the corn until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Cover the pan with lid while frying the corn, the corn may pop.
  6. Once crispy strain the corn.
  7. Sprinkle the spice mix and serve hot.
