INGREDIENTS
- 2 Cups ladyfingers bhindi (cut into 2 vertically)
- 2 tbsp besan
- ½ Cup curds
- 2 tbsp chopped onions
- A pinch of asofoetida (hing)
- ¼ tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
- ½ tsp chilli powder
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
- 1 tsp dhania powder
- 1 tbsp oil
METHOD
- In a vessel heat the oil, add the asofoetida, cumin seeds, onions and saute for a minute.
- Add the ladyfingers, salt to taste and cook for 3-5 minutes.
- Add the besan, turmeric powder, dhania powder, chilli powder and curd.
- Saute it for 3 minutes.
- Serve hot with chapati or steamed rice.
