INGREDIENTS
For the dal paste -
2 tbsp yellow moongdal (soak 2-3 hours)
2 chopped garlic cloves
¼ tsp ginger chilly paste
For the dough -
¼ cup wheat flour
½ tbsp rava
¼ tbsp oil
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander
Pinch of turmeric powder
Pinch red chilli powder
Pinch garam masala
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
METHOD
For the dal paste
In a blender jar, blend the soaked dal, garlic and ginger green chilli paste.
Blend until smooth.
How to proceed
In a plate mix together all the ingredients along with the dal paste.
Knead a soft dough. Roll out medium sized puris.
Heat oil for frying and fry the puris.
Alternatively you can make parathas and puris from the mixture.
Serve hot.
