Deep Fried Apples Recipe|Renu dalal

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 apple slices (hole cut out in the centre)

For the batter

  • ½ cup maida
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ½ cup milk
  • Pinch of salt

Other ingredients

  • Oil for frying
  • 2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp powdered sugar

METHOD

  1. In a bowl mix together all the ingredients and make a smooth batter.
  2. Coat the apple slices in the batter.
  3. Heat oil for frying and fry these coated apple slices until golden brown.

To serve

  1. In a bowl mix together cinnamon and powdered sugar.
  2. Sprinkle this powder on the deep fried apple slices.
  3. Serve hot immediately.
