INGREDIENTS
¼ cup white beans (soak for 4 hours)
1 Cup tomato puree
¼ cup chopped onion
½ tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
3 tbsp tomato ketchup
2 tbsp chopped celery
1 tsp garlic green chilli paste
1 tsp corn flour + 1 tbsp water
½ tsp oregano
Salt to taste
1 tsp oil
METHOD
For the beans
Soak white beans for 4 hours
Pressure cook these for 6-7 whistles.
How to proceed
In a pan, heat oil and sauté garlic green chilli paste and onions. Cook for 30 seconds.
Add in tomato puree, red chilli powder, ketchup, celery, oregano, and salt to taste.
Cook for 1 minute.
Add in boiled beans and cook for 1 minute.
Finish by adding cornflour slurry, stir well and cook for a minute.
Serve hot with buttered toast.
