HOMEMADE SATTU POWDER
Sattu atta is a well-known component of Indian cuisine! It`s a high-protein flour produced from powdered roasted chana. It is well-known in many Indian states, including Jharkhand, Bihar, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh etc. It is the most recent superfood to gain fame and reputation for its numerous benefits. Sattu is a pulverized version of bhuna chana or fried chana dal that is quite similar to gram flour. Sattu is a traditional Bihari dish. Sattu is extremely nutritious and high in protein. So this is a recipe to make this flour / powder at home. It is a quick and easy recipe, that can be made in a jiffy. Do make this flour and replace the regular flous and besan with this flour.

Makes
2 cups sattu powder
INGREDIENTS
3 Cups Chana (Roasted Chickpeas)
METHOD
Heat a pan and roast the chickpeas for 1 minute.
Once done, remove from heat and remove the peel.
Blend into a fine powder.
Store in a jar and use when needed.
