Kudo Millet Upma Recipe|Renu dalal

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ¼ cup boiled kudo millet
  • ½ tsp olive oil
  • ½ cup mixed boiled vegetables (French beans, carrots, green peas)
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onions
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp hing
  • ¼ tsp ginger chilly paste
  • 3 curry leaves
  • ½ tsp mustard seeds
  • Salt to taste

METHOD

  1. In a pan heat oil and sauté mustard seeds, curry leaves, hing and ginger chilly paste.
  2. Add onions, mixed boiled vegetables and saute.
  3. Add in turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt to taste and mix well.
  4. Toss in boiled kudo millet and mix well.
  5. Cook for a minute and serve hot.
