LAUKI KA HALWA

INGREDIENTS
- 1 ½ Cups Grated Bottle Gourd (Lauki)
- 1 ½ tbsp Ghee
- ½ tsp Cardamom Powder
- 1 ½ Cup milk
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- ¼ Cup Chopped Mix Nuts ( Pistachio, Cashews, Almonds)
METHOD
- Squeeze the excess water from the lauki.
- In a pan heat ghee and saute grated bottle gourd.
- Saute bottle gourd well until the moisture evaporates.
- Add in milk, sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well, cover with a lid and let it cook for 7 to 10 minutes.
- Keep stirring at regular intervals and the bottle gourd will start turning soft.
- Once the halwa turns thick and the lauki is cooked, add in the chopped nuts.
- Mix well and serve.
