INGREDIENTS
½ cup rice flour
¼ cup rava
2 tbsp maida
2 tbsp crushed roasted peanuts
½ tbsp sesame seeds
½ cup sliced onions
½ tsp ginger green chilly paste
2 tbsp chopped coriander
1 tbsp chopped curry leaves
Pinch of hing
½ tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp jeera
1 tbsp warm oil
Warm water to knead dough
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
To serve with
Green chutney
METHOD
In a bowl mix together all the ingredients to make a dough.
Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and flatten to make vadas.
Heat oil for frying.
Fry these vadas until golden brown and crispy.
Serve hot with green chutney.
