MANGO FALOODA Recipe|Renu dalal

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ tbsp Sabja seeds (basil, seeds, tukmaria)
  • 1 ½ tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp Falooda sev or vermicilli
  • ½ Cup mango puree
  • ½ Cup chopped mango
  • 2 Scoops Vanilla Icecream
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Dry fruits (Almonds, Pistachios, cashew nuts)
  • 1 ½ Cup Chilled Milk

METHOD

For the basil seeds

  1. Soak Sabja seeds in 1 cup Water for 30-45 minutes until the seeds fluff up.

For the falooda sev

  1. In a pan, boil falooda sev in ½ Cup water until soft.
  2. Sieve them. Add cold water over the sev. Remove the sev from the cold water.

How to proceed

  1. In a glass, pour in the mango puree first, followed by soaked sabja seeds.
  2. Add in the falooda sev on top, followed by the mango pieces, powdered sugar and dry fruits.
  3. Pour in the chilled milk in the glass. Stir lightly with a spoon.
  4. Top up with vanilla ice cream.
  5. Garnish with mango, sabja seeds, mango puree and dry fruits.
  6. Serve immediately
