METHI THEPLA
Whenever we travel out of India methi thepla is a must carry. Have it with curd, sambhar powder or pickles. Methi Thepla is a staple for all gujuratis! It is the most loved food by everyone and everyone has their own ways of making it! Here is my version of the very tasty and healthy Methi Thepla. can be made with wheat flour or besan. They are so soft, light and delicious you wouldn’t feel like stopping.

10 theplas
INGREDIENTS
1 cup wheat flour (atta)
2 tbsp curds
½ cup chopped methi (fenugreek) leaves
A pinch of asafoetida (hing)
½ tsp turmeric powder haldi
½ tbsp oil
½ tbsp dhania powder
Salt and chilli powder to taste
Other ingredients
Water for making the dough
Oil for making the thepla
METHOD
Mix the ingredients together and make a dough. Use water for making the dough.
Make small rounds from the dough and with a help of a little atta make rounds like chappatis.
On a tava with the help of a little oil, cook the theplas on both sides.
Serve hot with curds and pickle.
