INGREDIENTS
For the moong
½ cup green moong whole
2 ½ cups water
Other ingredients
½ tbsp ghee
1/4 tsp Cumin
A Pinch of Hing
5-6 Curry leaves
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp coriander
Salt to taste
METHOD
For the moong
Pressure cook soaked green moong for 3-4 whistles.
Once cooked, with a hand blender crush the cooked moong along with water.
Strain and leave aside.
How to proceed
In a pan heat ghee and sauté cumin seeds, Hing, curry leaves and add turmeric powder.
Add in the moong water, salt, coriander, lemon juice and cook for 1 minute.
Serve hot.
