Moong Subzi Recipe|Renu dalal

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup whole moong (soaked overnight)
  • 1/4 cup chopped tomato
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp oil
  • Salt to taste

METHOD

For the moong

  1. Boil soaked moong in water for 5-7 minutes or until cooked.
  2. Strain and set aside.

How to proceed

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté ginger garlic paste.
  2. Sauté chopped onion, chopped tomato and boiled moong.
  3. Add in salt to taste, sugar and the masalas.
  4. Finish by adding lemon juice and serve hot.
