Oats Sabzi Recipe|Renu dalal

INGREDIENTS

  • ¾ cup oats
  • ½ cup mixed boiled vegetables (carrot, French beans, and green peas)
  • ¼ cup chopped onions
  • ½ tsp jeera
  • ½ tbsp oil
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • Pinch of hing
  • Salt to taste
  • ¾ cup water
  • Chopped coriander

METHOD

How to proceed

  1. In a pan heat oil and saute jeera, hing.
  2. Saute onions and mix boiled vegetables. Cook for a minute.
  3. Add in oats and roast for a minute.
  4. Add in garam masala, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt to taste, and water.
  5. Mix well and let it cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Finish by adding coriander and lemon juice.
  7. Serve hot immediately.
