PARWAL SOUP
Parwal or also known as Pointed Gourd, is so so nutritious. This soup has parwal as the hero ingredient. Serves - 3
INGREDIENTS
2 Cup Chopped Parwal (Pointed gourd)
1 ½ Cup Water
1 Chopped Onion
1 Chopped Tomato
½ tsp grated garlic
½ tsp Chopped Ginger
Salt & pepper to taste
Other ingredients
1 tsp oil
A pinch of hing
½ tsp Turmeric powder
2 tbsp Chopped Spring onion
METHOD
For the parwal
In a pressure cooker add in chopped parwal, onion, tomato, garlic, ginger, water, salt and pepper to taste.
Pressure cook for 2 whistles. Cool it down and blend in a mixer into a smooth puree.
Strain and keep aside.
How to proceed
In a pan heat oil add hing, turmeric powder, spring onions.
Add the parwal broth and cook for one minute.
Serve hot
