Quinoa Pizza Base Recipe|Renu dalal

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups quinoa flour
  • 2 tbsp active dry yeast
  • 3 tbsp lukewarm water
  • ½ cup lukewarm water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil

METHOD

For the yeast

  1. Put the yeast in 3 tbsp warm water .Cover for 15 minutes

For the dough

  1. the quinoa yeast mixture, ,salt to taste,oil and ½ cup of lukewarm water.
  2. Cover your hands with maida and knead for 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Cover the dough with wet cloth for 1 hour.
  4. Divide the dough into 4 equal parts.
  5. Roll the dough into a pizza base round with a help of a little flour.
  6. With a fork make markings on the base.

How to proceed

  1. Preheat the oven for 10 minutes at 200°C (400°F).
  2. Bake for 7 minutes, remove, add the pizza topping, and bake for another 7 minutes till well done.
