INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup urad dal flour
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 1 tbsp cold milk
- ½ cup khoya
- ½ tbsp ghee
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 tbsp ghee
- ¼ sugar
- ¾ cup water
- ¼ tsp cardamom powder
- Kesar
- 2 tbsp chopped roasted cashews
- 1 tbsp chopped roasted almonds

METHOD
- In a plate mix together urad dal flour, milk and ghee.
- Mix and make a crumbly mixture.
- Pass this through the sieve to get a fine texture.
- In a saucepan mix together water, sugar, kesar, cardamom powder.
- Boil until you get a one string syrup consistency.
- Set aside.vvv
- In a pan heat ghee and add in the sieved urad dal mixture.
- Roast for 10 minutes.
- Add milk, khoya and cook for another 7-8 minutes or until nicely golden brown.
- Mix in the prepared syrup and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Finish by mixing in cashews and almonds. Serve hot or cold.
