INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 cup Potatoes (peeled and chopped big pieces)
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1 cup chopped tomatoes (big pieces)
- ½ tsp Cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp Fennel seeds
- 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
- A pinch of hing
- 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
- ½ tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup Water
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 2 tbsp fresh Coriander leaves
- 1/2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
METHOD
- In a pressure cooker heat ghee and sauté hing, mustard seeds, fennel seeds and cumin seeds.
- Mix in onions, tomatoes, potatoes and salt to taste.
- Add in red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander powder and water.
- Add in chopped coriander and pressure cook for 3 whistles.
- Serve hot with chapatis or rice.
