INGREDIENTS

    For the batter

    • 1 cup rava
    • 1/4 cup boiled beetroot paste
    • 2 tbsp curd
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 1 tsp green chili-ginger paste
    • 1 tsp oil

    To add later

    • 1 tsp eno

    For the tempering

    • 1 tsp rai (mustard seeds)
    • 3 to 4 kari patta (curry leaves)
    • 1 tsp chopped coriander

METHOD

    For the batter

    1. In a blender jar add in all the ingredients to make a smooth batter.
    2. Add the Eno fruit salt, mix thoroughly, and let the batter froth.
    3. Wait for 3 minutes.
    4. Grease a thali with oil
    5. Pour the batter in the thali. Shake the thali till the batter is evenly distributed.
    6. Steam in a steamer for 8 to 9 minutes till the dhoklas are evenly cooked.

    For the tempering

    1. In a small pan heat oil and saute mustard seeds, curry leaves and coriander.

    To serve

    1. Pour hot tempering on the dhokla.
    2. Cool the cooked dhoklas and cut into pieces.
    3. Serve with green chutney.
