INGREDIENTS
- ½ cup white flour (maida)
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tbsp oil
- ½ tbsp water
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp yoghurt
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped jalapeño
- 2 tbsp parsley
- 1/4 tsp chilli flakes
- 1/4 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp thyme
- Salt pepper to taste
- Butter for brushing the naan

METHOD
- Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
- Mix all the ingredients together to form a dough.
- Knead the dough well.
- Applylight oil on the dough and cover with a wet cloth for 2 hours.
- Knead the dough again and divide into 8 equal portions.
- Roll out the naan in a circluar shape with the help of a little flour.
- Add a spoonful of the filling in the centre and seal the dough again.
- Roll out with small with a little flour, carefully so it doesn’t tear.
- Sprinkle water on one side of the naan.
- Heat the tawa. Do not use a nonstick tawa. Put the water side naan over the tawa. Once the dough starts drying, turn the tawa over the flames and let it cook the naan from the top.
- Once the naan is ready, remove and brush with butter.
- Serve hot immediately
