INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup gathiya
- 1 cup broken papad pieces
- 1 cup finely chopped tomatoes
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
- 1/2 tsp jeera
- 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
- Pinch of Hing
- 7-8 curry leaves
- 1/2 tbsp garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp ginger green chilli paste
- 1/2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp oil
METHOD
- In a pan heat oil and sauté mustard seeds, jeera, curry leaves, hing, garlic paste, ginger green chilli paste.
- Mix in onions, tomatoes, salt to taste and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add in water, Kashmiri red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and let it boil.
- Once done add in gathiyas and cook for 2 minutes.
- Once almost done, add in broken papad pieces and cook for a minute.
- Finish by adding coriander and serve hot.
