INGREDIENTS

    For the biscuits

    • 3/4 cup flour
    • 3 tbsp butter
    • 1 tbsp milk
    • ¼ tsp sugar
    • Pinch of Salt
    • Cold water to make the dough

    Other Ingredients

    • ¼ Cup Strawberry Jam
    • Powder Sugar
    • 1 tbsp melted butter

METHOD

    For the biscuits

    1. Mix all the ingredient together to form a dough.
    2. Cover with a wet cloth for 20 minutes.
    3. Divide the dough into 2 parts and roll out flat semi thick sheets.
    4. With a heart shaped cookie cutter, cut out the biscuits.
    5. From half the heart shaped cookies, cut out smaller hearts with a smaller heart shaped cookie cutter.
    6. Place a small heart cookie dough on the big one and press it down gently to get it stuck
    7. Repeat the same method with the rest of the cookies.
    8. With a fork, poke holes on the cookies.
    9. On a greased pan, place these cookies and brush some melted butter on them.
    10. Bake them for 6-8 minutes at 180C or until they are well done.

    How to proceed

    1. Once done, let them cool down
    2. Add a spoonful of the strawberry jam in the cavity on the cookie.
    3. Sprinkle some powder sugar over the cookies and serve.
