Matcha Quinoa Bites | Puffed Quinoa Matcha Bites | White Chocolate Matcha Bites | Healthy Matcha Quinoa Treats — recipe by Renu Dalal

INGREDIENTS

    • ½ Cup Quinoa
    • ¾ Cup White chocolate
    • ½ tsp Matcha Powder

METHOD

    For the Puffed Quinoa

    1. Wash the quinoa with water.
    2. Sieve the quinoa and spread them on a tissue paper to air dry for around 30 minutes.
    3. Heat a pan and roast the dried quinoa on a medium flame.
    4. Keep stirring so they don’t burn.
    5. Quinoa will start to pop slowly, once they’re crunchy remove from the pan and let it cool down.

    How to proceed

    1. Grate the cooking chocolate.
    2. Melt 2/3 of the grated chocolate in a double boiler.
    3. Once the chocolate is melted add the Balance 1/3 grated chocolate to the mixture and stir until all the chocolate has melted.
    4. Stir it to see that there are no lumps.
    5. Mix in the matcha powder and puffed quinoa well.
    6. On a parchment paper, place a spoonful of the chocolate quinoa mixture and spread it like a cookie.
    7. Refrigerate the discs for 7-10 minutes or until well set.
    8. Store in an air tight container and enjoy.
