INGREDIENTS

    • ¼ Cup Walnuts
    • ½ Cup Oats

    Other ingredients

    • 2 tbsp ghee
    • 1 ½ Cup milk
    • ¾ Cup seedless dates paste
    • Pinch of cardamom powder
    • 2 tbsp chopped pistachios

METHOD

    For the oats and walnuts

    1. In a pan dry roast walnut and then blend into a chunky powder.
    2. In a separate pan dry roast the oats and then blend into a fine powder.

    For the halwa

    1. In a pan heat ghee and sauté powdered oats and walnuts for 2 minutes.
    2. Mix in milk, cardamom powder and let it cook for a minutes.
    3. Add in the dates paste and mix well.
    4. Cook for 2 minutes, garnish with chopped pistachios and serve hot.
