INGREDIENTS

    • 1 ½ Cup Brussel sprouts ( cut in half )
    • 2 cups water
    • Salt to taste

    Other ingredients

    • ½ tbsp Balsamic vinegar
    • 1 tsp honey
    • ¼ tsp red chilli flakes
    • ½ tbsp chopped spring onion (greens)
    • 2 tsp Butter
    • Salt pepper to taste

METHOD

    For the brussel sprouts

    1. Boil water in a pan. Add in salt to taste.
    2. Add in brussel sprouts and boil for 3-4 minutes or until well cooked.
    3. Strain.

    How to proceed

    1. In a pan melt butter and roast the boiled brussel sprouts until nicely charred.
    2. Once done, add balsamic vinegar, honey, red chilli flakes, salt pepper to taste.
    3. Finish by adding spring onion greens, mix well and serve with toothpicks.
