INGREDIENTS

    • 3 cups chopped mustard leaves
    • 1cup chopped spinach leaves
    • 1 cup chopped bathua
    • ¼ tsp green chillies
    • 1 tomato sliced
    • I onion sliced
    • 1 clove garlic (crushed)
    • 1 tsp chopped ginger
    • 1 tbsp mustard oil
    • 1 tsp jeera
    • 1 tsp turmeric powder
    • ¼ tsp hing
    • Salt to taste

METHOD

    How to proceed

    1. In a non stick vessel heat the oil, add the onion, hing, garlic, jeera, turmeric powder. Saute for 30 seconds
    2. Add the ginger, green chillies, tomatoes and saute.
    3. Add the spinach, bathua and mustard leaves, 2 tbsp water,salt to taste and cook for 2 minutes.
    4. Allow it to cool for 2 minutes
    5. Blend in a food processor.
    6. Heat in a vessel and serve hot.

    To serve

    1. Serve hot with makki ki roti.
