INGREDIENTS
- ½ cup chopped tomato big pieces
- 1 cup masala sev
- 1 cup finely chopped tomatoes
- ¼ cup finely chopped onions
- 1 tbsp oil
- ½ tsp jeera
- ¼ tsp mustard seeds
- Pinch of hing
- 7-8 curry leaves
- ½ tbsp garlic paste
- ½ tsp ginger green chilli paste
- 1 cup hot water
- ½ tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp Jaggery
- ¼ tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander
METHOD
- Heat oil in a pan, saute hing, mustard seeds, cumin, curry leaves, garlic paste, ginger green chilli paste.
- Add in onions, finely chopped tomatoes and salt to taste.
- Cook for a minute. Add in all the spices and cook until oil separates.
- Add in hot water, jaggery, big tomato pieces, coriander and boil for 2 minutes.
- Finish by adding sev, cook for only 30 seconds.
- Serve immediately with roti or rice.
