INGREDIENTS

    • 1/3 cup sago (sabudana)
    • 1/4 cup peanuts, roasted and crushed
    • 1 potato (boiled and peeled)
    • ½ tsp jeeera powder
    • ½ tsp ginger green chilli paste
    • ½ tsp lemon juice
    • ½ tsp sugar
    • Salt to taste
    • Oil to make the tikkis

    For the curd

    • ½ Cup Beaten Curd
    • Salt to taste
    • 2 tsp powdered sugar

    Other Ingredients

    • Imli chutney
    • Green Chutney
    • Red chilli powder
    • Chaat masala
    • Sev

METHOD

    For the sago

    1. Soak the sago (sabudana) in just enough water for 4 hours. It should be soft and fluffy.

    For the sabudana tikki

    1. Mix the sabudana with the rest of the ingredients.
    2. Form small tikkis with the mixture.
    3. Shallow fry the tikkis in hot oil.

    For the curd

    1. Mix curd with salt and powdered sugar.

    How to proceed

    1. Top up the hot tikkis with beaten curd, tamarind chutney green chutney, red chilli powder, chaat masala, sev and coriander.
