Tricolour Parathas for Independence Day | Carrot Spinach and Plain Parathas | Healthy Tricolour Indian Flatbreads | Tricolour Roti for 15th August — recipe by Renu Dalal

INGREDIENTS

    For the Carrot dough

    • ¼ Cup Wheat flour 1 tbsp Carrot Puree 1 tsp oil Salt to taste

    For the spinach dough

    • ¼ Cup Wheat flour 1 tbsp Spinach Puree 1 tsp oil Salt to taste

    For the normal dough

    • ¼ Cup Wheat flour 1 tsp oil Salt to taste
    • Oil to make parathas

METHOD

    1. Mix all the ingredients together for each dough.
    2. With the help of water, knead 3 types of soft dough.
    3. Rest the dough for 10 minutes.
    4. Roll out all 3 doughs and lay them horizontally.
    5. Make a braid from doughs and then roll it out again.
    6. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions.
    7. Flatten it and roll out thin parathas.
    8. With oil roast the parathas, flip and cook on both the sides.
    9. Serve hot with curd or pickle.
