CORN PAKORAS
Corn pakodas are a popular Indian snack made from fresh corn kernels, gram flour, and a blend of spices. INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup sweet Corn
- ¼ cup thinly sliced onions
- 5 tbsp besan
- 1 ½ tbsp rice flour
- Pinch of turmeric powder
- ¼ tsp Red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp chaat masala
- Pinch of hing
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander
- ¼ tsp ginger green chilly paste
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
- Chaat masala to sprinkle
METHOD
- In a bowl mix sweet corn and sliced onions.
- With a masher mash it until lightly crushed.
- Add in rest of the ingredients and mix well.
- Heat oil for frying.
- Add in spoonful of the batter and fry these pakoras until golden brown.
- Once done sprinkle some chaat masala and serve hot immediately.
