ICE CREAM SHRIKHAND
This makes a lovely addition to the meal, or after. A variation to the traditional shrikhand. If strawberries are not in season you can use strawberry crush. a lovely dessert option for the festive season! it’s so easy to make but has so many complex flavours, it is to die for. The tanginess from the strawberries and the grapes gives out the perfect sweetness to the shrikhand! this is a homemade shrikand recipe too infused with icecream, you can top your choice of fruits or flavours in it.

INGREDIENTS
- 2 ½ cups yoghurt
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- ½ cup vanilla ice cream
- ½ cup chopped fruits (grapes, strawberries)
- ¼ tsp cardamon powder
- Chopped grapes and strawberries
For garnish
METHOD
- Hang the yoghurt in a wet muslin cloth for 2 hours.
- To the strained yoghurt add the vanilla ice cream, sugar, cardamon powder and fruits.
- Refrigerate and chill for 2 hours.
- Garnish with sliced fruits and serve.
