LASOONI METHI

Qunioa is so very healthy and simply nutritious. Quinoa is rich in protein, dietary fiber, B vitamins and dietary minerals in amounts greater than in many grains. Quinoa is a great source of fiber. These healthy rotis can be replaced for the regular wheat ones if you’re looking for a gluten free diet. These rotis are extremely tasty with a hint of sweet taste from the quinoa. INGREDIENTS

    • 2 Cups Chopped Methi
    • 1 tsp Oil
    • Pinch of hing
    • Salt and chilli powder to taste
    • Pinch of soda

    Other ingredients

    • 1 tsp oil
    • ¼ cup chopped onions
    • ¼ cup chopped tomatoes
    • 2bsp finely chopped garlic
    • 2 tbsp grated garlic
    • ½ tsp jeera
    • ¼ tsp hing
    • ¼ tsp ginger green chilly paste
    • ½ tsp Red chilli powder
    • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
    • ½ tsp garam masala

    For the besan mixture

    • ¼ Cup Besan
    • 1 ½ Cup Water

METHOD

    For the methi

    1. In a pan heat oil and sauté hing, chopped methi leaves, salt & chilli powder, pinch of soda.
    2. Mix well and Cook for a minute.

    For the besan mixture

    1. In a bowl mix together all the ingredients.
    2. Stir well to avoid lumps.

    How to proceed

    1. In a pan heat oil and sauté cumin, hing, garlic, ginger green chilly paste,onions and tomatoes.
    2. Add in salt, red chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala and the prepared besan mixture. Stir well to avoid lumps and cook for a minute.
    3. Add in the sauted methi and mix well, cook for 30 seconds.
    4. Serve hot.
