INGREDIENTS

    • 1 cup coarsely crushed walnuts
    • 2 tbsp ghee
    • ¼ cup sugar
    • 6 tbsp grated mawa
    • ¾ cup full fat milk

    For garnish

    • 2 tbsp chopped pistachio

METHOD

    1. In a pan heat ghee and saute walnuts until lightly toasted.
    2. Once done, add in grated mawa and cook for a minute.
    3. Add in full fat milk, sugar and cover with a lid for 5-7 minutes until it starts thickening.
    4. Keep stirring and let it cook until oil starts releasing from the halwa.
    5. Garnish with chopped Pistachios and Serve hot or cold.
    6. Refrigerate and eat at your convenience.
