RICE FLOUR ROTI

This is yet another maharashtrian classic recipe! This is a dish which connects with so many homes and is loved by all! Made with such simple and easily available ingredients but tastes absolutely divine. This is a maharashtrian staple and regularly sonsumed by so many people. Try to consume these rotis immediately once their made when they`re hot. Also do not skip the part of mixing ingredients in a pan over the flame, this step helps in getting softer crack free rotis. RICE FLOUR ROTI Recipe|Renu dalal

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ Cup Rice flour
  • ½ Cup Water
  • ½ tbsp Oil
  • Salt to taste

Other ingredients

  • Ghee to brush on the rotis (optional)

METHOD

  1. In a pan add water, oil and let it boil.
  2. Once boiled, add in salt and rice flour.
  3. Mix well until well combined and transfer to a plate.
  4. Knead a soft dough immediately, make sure there are no lumps.
  5. Divide the dough into rru pieces and roll out rotis from them immediately. They should be rolled out when the dough is still warm, or the rotis might crack.
  6. On a tawa, cook the roti and then cook them on open flame until they fluff up and are done.
  7. Brush ghee on top if you wish.
  8. Serve hot.
