ROSE FLAVOURED KAJU KATLI
An all-time classic Indian sweet, made from cashew nuts. Eat at your convenience. The rose flavour changes the colour and taste. It is really yum. It will tempt your taste buds and make your festival even brighter. Replace your ordinary kaju katlis with these lovely rose flavoured kaju katlis. You’’ll be tempted to keep eating the once you try one. Perfect for festive season gifting too. Make these and bring something new to the table.

INGREDIENTS
1 Cup Cashew nuts (kaju)
½ Cup Water
½ Cup Sugar
2 tsp rose syrup
1 tsp Ghee
2-3 Chandi Warakh
METHOD
For the cashew nuts
Place in a mixer for a short period of time till you get a coarse powder. Do not overgrind.
How to proceed
In a pan, heat water and sugar together.
Let it thicken and make a one string syrup.
Once done, add in the Crushed Cashew nuts, and let it cook.
Add in the ghee and stir.
Keep stirring and let it cook until the mixture thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan.
Once it has thickened up, remove from the pan, and add the rose syrup and mix well.
Let it cool for 20 minutes.
Knead the mixture with your hands and roll out to make a thin layer. Place in a butter paper layered plate.
Top it up with Chandi warakh and cut into desired shapes.
Let it cool and store in airtight containers.
