ROYAL FALOODA
This is an all time classic, irresistible. You can garnish as per your preference.. You can add rose syrup to the milk, if you want the milk to be pink in colour. With summers around, Who doesn’t love a good wholesome falooda ? Everyone does! Traditionally it is made by mixing rose syrup, vermicelli, basil seeds (sabja) with milk, ice cream and nuts! It is Served chilled, so beat the heat with this amazing falooda!

INGREDIENTS
- 2 tbsp Sabja seeds (basil, seeds, tumkaria)
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/3 Cup Falooda sev or vermicilli
- ¼ cup rose syrup
- ¼ Cup strawberry flavoured Jelly cubes
- 2 cups Chilled Milk
- 2 scoop Vanilla ice cream
- 2 tbsp Chopped Dry fruits (Almonds, Pistachios, cashew nuts)
- Rose syrup
- Jelly cubes
- Chopped Dry fruits (Almonds, Pistachios, cashew nuts)
For garnish
METHOD
- Soak Sabja seeds in 1 cup Water for 30-45 minutes until the seeds fluff up.
- In a pan, boil falooda sev in ½ Cup water until soft.
- Sieve them. Add cold water over the sev. Remove the sev from the cold water.
- Mix the powderd sugar with the milk and refrigerate till chilled
- In a glass, pour in the rose syrup first, followed by soaked sabja seeds.
- Add in the falooda sev on top, followed by the jelly pieces and dry fruits.
- Pour in the chilled milk in the glass. Stir lightly with a spoon.
- Top up with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
- Garnish with jelly cubes, rose syrup and dry fruits and serve.
