Sabudana Paniyaram
Sabudana Wadas are a fasting classic. This is a healthy twist to the yummy sabudana wadas. Flavoured with cheese, these sabudana butes tastes so good. An amazing recipe for fasting too! Our take on the classic ordinary sabudana wadas. Say goodbye to your oily Wadas. Try our version of these lovely paniyaram, after all who doesn’t love sabudana ? INGREDIENTS
To add later
½ cup Grated Cheese
To serve with
Green coriander chutney
¼ cup sago (sabudana)
Other ingredients
¼ cup peanuts, roasted and crushed
1 potatoes (boiled and peeled)
¼ tsp jeeera powder
½ tsp ginger green chilli paste
½ tsp lemon juice
½ tsp sugar
Salt to taste
Oil for making
METHOD
For the sago
Soak the sago (sabudana) in just enough water for 4 hours. It should be soft and fluffy.
How to proceed
Mix the sabudana with the rest of the ingredients.
Roll out small portions of the mixture and flatten them.
Fill in the grated cheese and roll into a ball.
Heat the Paniyaram and brush oil.
Roast these Paniyaram well until golden brown. Flip and cook on both the sides.
To serve
Serve immediately with green chutney
