Sattu Modak Recipe|Renu dalal

INGREDIENTS

  • 3/4 Cup Sattu flour
  • 4 tbsp jaggery sugar
  • 1/3 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp fennel powder
  • 2 tsp ghee

METHOD

  1. In a pan heat ghee and roast sattu flour for 1 minute.
  2. Add in dessicated coconut and roast for 30 seconds.
  3. Add in jaggery sugar, milk, cardamom powder, fennels seeds.
  4. Mix until well combined.
  5. Remove from the pan and transfer to plate.
  6. Line the modak moulds with ghee
  7. Make modaks with the help of modak moulds while the mixture in still warm.
  8. Once done, remove from the mould .
  9. Serve at your conevenince. Store in an air tight container.
