SPINACH UTTAPAM Recipe|Renu dalal

INGREDIENTS

For the batter

  • ½ cup rava
  • ¼ cup rice flour
  • ¼ cup curd
  • ½ cup spinach puree
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp ginger green chilli paste
  • ½ cup water

Oil to make uttapam

To add later

  • 2 tbsp chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp chopped onions
  • Chopped coriander
  • Podi masala

METHOD

For the batter

  1. In a blender jar add in all the ingredients.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Transfer this to a bowl.

How to proceed

  1. Heat a pan and brush oil.
  2. Pour in spoonful of batter to make uttapams.
  3. Top up with chopped onions, tomatoes, coriander and podi masala.
  4. Flip and cook on both the sides until golden brown.
  5. Serve hot with coconut chutney and sambhar
