TADGOLA KHEER
Ice Apples also known as Tadgolas are everyone`s favourite! This yet another summer fruit that is so versatile. This unique kheer recipe will become your favourite once you try it! Ice apples are back in season and what better way to include them in your diet. Ice apples are a boost of hydration in summers, gives a cooling nature to your system too. The base of this kheer is almonds & cashews this gives the kheer such a rich creamy luscious texture. Then topped up with chopped ice apples and this combination becomes truly irresistible. This kheer recipe will happily suprise you as it`s a unique combination. Garnish with some more nuts and ice apple and serve this kheer chilled.

INGREDIENTS
For the base
2 tbsp boiled almonds (peeled)
2 tbsp boiled cashews
½ Cup Milk
Other ingredients
¾ Cup chopped tadgola (ice apples)
¾ Cup milk
2 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
METHOD
For the base
In a blender jar add boiled peeled almonds, boiled cashews and ½ cup milk.
Blend into a smooth puree.
How to proceed
Boil ¾ Cup milk in a pan.
Add in the prepared paste, sugar, cardamom powder and cook for 5-7 minutes or until the milk thickens.
Add in chopped tadgola, mix well and let the kheer cool down.
Serve cold.
