TRICOLOR IDLIS
These are such a delight! Make them for republic day or Independence Day and it will wow your guests! It is super simple to make and you will love them! Beautiful orange and green layers show perfectly like pur tricolour flag. The carrot and spinach gives them the perfect colour and taste!

INGREDIENTS
- ½ cup idli batter
- ¼ Cup Carrot puree
- A pinch of salt
- ¼ tsp soda bi carbonate
- ½ cup idli batter
- ¼ tsp soda bi carbonate
- 2 tbsp Spinach Puree
- A pinch of salt
- ¾ cup idli batter
- ¼ tsp soda bi carbonate
- A pinch of salt
- Oil for greasing
- chutney and sambhar
For the Orange Batter
For the Green batter
For the white batter

METHOD
- Mix in the carrot puree in ½ Cup Idli Batter.
- Add in pinch of salt , soda bi carbonateMix well.
- Add pinch of salt, soda bi carbonate in the normal idli batter.
- Mix well
- Mix in spinach puree in ½ Cup Idli Batter.
- Add in pinch of salt, soda bi carbonate Mix well.
- Grease idli mould with oil.
- Pour in orange batter with a spoon on top.
- Pour in a spoon of white batter in the middle quickly.
- Followed by the green batter in the end.
- Repeat the same procedure for all idlis.
- Steam for 5-7 minutes or until cooked.
- Serve hot with chutney and sambhar.
