Turiya Patra

INGREDIENTS

    • 1 ½ cup chopped turiya (Ridge Gourd) peeled and chopped
    • 1 cup steamed and chopped Patra
    • 1 tbsp oil
    • Hing to taste
    • ½ tsp mustard seeds
    • ½ tsp red chilli powder
    • ½ tsp garam masala
    • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
    • ¼ tsp Cumin powder
    • Salt to taste
    • 2 tbsp chopped coriander
    • ½ cup water

METHOD

    1. In a pan heat oil and saute hing, mustard seeds and chopped turiya.
    2. Add in salt and water. Cover and let it cook for 3-5 minutes.
    3. Add in red chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, cumin powder and mix well.
    4. Add in chopped patra and let it cook for another 3-5 minutes.
    5. Finish by adding coriander and serve hot.
