INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup coarsely crushed walnuts
- 2 tbsp ghee
- ¼ cup sugar
- 6 tbsp grated mawa
- ¾ cup full fat milk
- 2 tbsp chopped pistachio
For garnish
METHOD
- In a pan heat ghee and saute walnuts until lightly toasted.
- Once done, add in grated mawa and cook for a minute.
- Add in full fat milk, sugar and cover with a lid for 5-7 minutes until it starts thickening.
- Keep stirring and let it cook until oil starts releasing from the halwa.
- Garnish with chopped Pistachios and Serve hot or cold.
- Refrigerate and eat at your convenience.
