Sarson ka saag is a timeless North Indian winter delicacy made from fresh mustard greens, slow-cooked to a rich, earthy consistency. Ingredients:
- 3 cups chopped mustard leaves
- 1cup chopped spinach leaves
- 1 cup chopped bathua
- ¼ tsp green chillies
- 1 tomato sliced
- I onion sliced
- 1 clove garlic (crushed)
- 1 tsp chopped ginger
- 1 tbsp mustard oil
- 1 tsp jeera
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- ¼ tsp hing
- Salt to taste
